You could simply go to the local RTO with your application token number which was provided to you while you were given a learner’s license, learnt driving and gave your tests or you could check the DL Status online:

How to Check Driving License Delivery Status

1. Log on to the Driving Licence website that represents your city. Note, that there are different websites for different cities and states. So you need to b aware of the website.
2. You will find a button or tab that will be labelled, ‘Track Your DL Delivery Status’ or something that means the same. Click on it, to redirected to another page.
3. You will be asked to add your token number along with the zone before you can search for the Driving Licence Status.
4. Once you have filled in the required details, click on the ‘Search’ or ‘Submit’ button to get the results.

Generally, it takes approximately 3 weeks for the Driving License to be delivered home. Make sure that even if you are not home, there is someone authoritative with an ID proof, who can accept it on your behalf, with sufficient documentation proof.

• Enter Registration Number
• Enter your Mobile Number
• Enter Verification Code (Captcha)
• Click on 'Generate OTP'
• Enter OTP sent to your mobile phone to know your RC status

How to Check your Vehicle Registration Status?

• Visit vahan.nic.in
• Enter Vehicle Number
• Enter Verification Code (Captcha)
• Click on ‘Search Vehicle to know your vehicle registration status

Steps to Check Driving Licence Status by Application Number

Step 1: Visit https://parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/applViewStatus.do

Step 2: Enter your application number

Step 3: Enter your date of birth

Step 4: Click on submit

The DL Status of your application will be displayed on the screen.
